The Way of St. James: Through rain,fog,wind, mud and more mud. Up up up walked elevation 450 to 790 km from Cizur Menor to Alto del Perdon where a string of windmills exists as well as a monument to the pilgrims. We left this am at 7:30. By 11:40 we were in Uterga for cafe con leche and a hot vegetable stew. We are now in Puenta La Reina for the rest of today. We wAlked 19 kilometers today, approx 12 miles. A very difficult 12 miles for sure. Many stories to tell but too hard to type on my phone. Love to all. Wish.me a buen Camino.
